Dinner for Two

The first time your beloved cooks you dinner is a special event. And when the food tastes delicious, it’s even more memorable. I had to capture this moment with my camera but as it seems to be the case lately, the camera quickly switched hands I got shot a few more times than he did.

Inner and outer dialogue: “OMG, you are amazing!”

On the menu: Rigatoni pasta with tomato sauce, olives and fresh basil from the garden.

Those who know me, know how much I love carbs. So… Pasta? Yes, that’s the key to my heart.

On the menu: Salad with cherry tomatoes, avocados, black olives, fresh bocconcini and Italian herbs.

The chef was a subject of my snaps too but he’s not making an appearance here for now. Stay tuned though!

Feeling the consequences of letting the camera switch hands.

I love this pic so much. He puts me in this position often – a mixture of feeling shy and cute at the same time. And the feeling of being adored. It’s a blessing and gift and I don’t know what I did to deserve it. I feel lucky beyond words.
