Ping Pong Break

I have a tendency to work like a maniac during a certain phase of the month. It’s my natural rhythm of productivity and the flip side of this is intense relaxation. Some weeknights I’ll stay up until 2 or 3 am working on a work project or a creative project. Some weekends I’ll sleep in until noon to recover my energy.

Even during these intense bursts of work, I sometimes feel blocked, like most other people probably do as well. Doing something unusual or unrelated to work is a great way to get that block out of your system and continue moving with your work.

I’ve been lucky to have a ping pong table where I work (Project Spaces) and even though I’m terrible at it, I try to play now and again. I’m kind of sad though because we’re leaving the coworking space and moving to our own office soon and won’t have space for a ping pong table. I might just set up a yoga corner and do Babaji Surya Namaskars instead. It could work! I’ll report back and let you know when I try it out.
